On Friday, June 5, 2026 I saw that a coffee I did not have had been charged to my room.
- I had noticed the charges were about $10.00 too much when I was checking out and I did a quick scan but missed the coffee.
- I decided to pay even though I suspected I had been overcharged.
On Wednesday, June 3, 2026 the SEA FAI flight was 30 minutes late taking off and landing.
- I took an Uber from Playa Grande to the SJD airport for about $70 including a tip. This is about $50.00 less than a taxi. The earliest Shuttle on weekdays is 9:30 which would have been less than two hours before the flight was scheduled to take off. I had to go to the Gate for pickup because Playa Grand only allows Taxis to pick up at the lobby front door and not Ride Share services.
- I took an Uber home from FAI for about $30.00
On Friday, May 29, 2026 I got an offer for $25.00 to increase my layover in Seattle by 2 or 3 hours and I didn't respond.
